Haven't played since THAC0 and you want to try out the brand-spanking-new 5th edition? Need a place to get your nerd on but not quite ready for LARP? East Side Mags is now hosting DungeonMaster Erik Cheski, who'll teach you how to play the current Wizards of the Coast ruleset, guide you through adventures large and extremely large, and match your wits, determination and cunning against small plastic dice. It's a space to explore the worlds of Dungeons and Dragons with a professional DM who will supply you with everything you need to play the best-known tabletop RPG, teaching you how to build characters, unleashing your creativity at the table, and forging lasting memories with your friends. Whether you want to slay the evil fiend or become them, your adventure starts now.
New and veteran players welcome, characters will be provided but feel free to bring your own! Recommended that you bring a notebook or binder.
Sunday, August 19th 1pm-3pm or Thursday, August 30th 4pm-6pm.
$10 per person, each session is limited to 8 players.
