Harley Quinn Day

Harley Quinn is taking over Batman Day this year!  Come by East Side Mags and celebrate all things Batman, er, I mean HARLEY QUINN.

We've got Kubert School artists, Batman, er, I mean HARLEY QUINN raffles, free give-a-ways and more surprises in store!

Meet Brian Benjamin.  Brian is a Queens based artist who is currently at his final year at the Kubert School, with dreams of becoming DC's top artist.

Joining Brian is Dillon Snook.  Dillon was born and raised in New Jersey, and has recently decided to dive headfirst into the business of comic art. He is a student entering his final year at the Kubert School, equal parts nervous and eager to get out into the business. Heavily influenced by comic artists and fine artists alike (John Singer Sargent, Jorge Zaffino and Alex Toth to name a few…), Dillon has been drawing since he can remember, mostly to compete with the attention his older brother and fellow artist got when creating. Above all, he just wants to deliver some high quality sketch covers for people who love Harley Quinn.

And to top it all off - Rusty Gladd will be joining us as well!  Rusty is from Northern New Jersey and a third-year student of the Kubert School, where he studies comic book art alongside his friend Brian Benjamin and their talented classmates. He's inspired by Old masters such as Wally Wood and Al Williamson, and modern artists Tony Moore, Scott Koblish, and Ryan Ottley to name a few. Upon graduation at the Kubert School, Rusty will be pursuing a career in comics.

Brian, Dillon and Rusty will be here from 1pm-6pm.  Buy a sketch cover, get a FREE pencil sketch.  You can also upgrade to inks and/or full color for an additional charge - paid DIRECTLY to the artist!  Support your comic shop and local artists at the same time!

We've got FREE copies of three (3) different Harley Quinn comics that will be available!  Customers that come by for Harley Quinn Day can choose from the following free comics (while supplies last):
