Welcome to Local Comic Shop Day 2019 (LCSD)!
LCSD is a day where we celebrate comic shops, comics, the amazing people who make them and the amazing people who read them and love them!
To celebrate, we’re going to have a whole bunch of exclusives* for LCSD including but not limited to:
*It’s important to know that the exclusive comics are in LIMITED SUPPLY and available on a first come, first served basis. We cannot hold any LCSD exclusive items and at the same time, pricing will be determined prior to the date of the event. Make sure you get here early, because once we’re sold out - we’re out!
We’ve also got two amazing guests with us:
Kalani Caraballo is a local writer from Newark, NJ and we’ve been carrying his comics like Home and Manifesto since Day 1! Now Kalani and Dummie Comics have a new comic out called Street Justice and we’re super excited to bring his fresh take to YOU to not only celebrate local comic shops but local comic creators as well! Kalani will have copies of his comics and other cool things for sale!
We’ve also got Scott Bryan Wilson joining us - Bloomfield resident and writer of the new all-ages friendly Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys graphic novel by Dynamite Comics! It’s local comic shop day so why not stack the room with local comic creators!
UPDATE: 10/29/19: Writer/Letterer Joe Caramagna will be joining us as well for the release of Disney's Frozen: True Treasure #1 - the official comic lead up to the box office debut of Frozen 2 - in theaters November 22!
Kalani, Scott and Joe will be here from 1pm-5pm so don’t miss this awesome opportunity to meet some awesome local comic writers!
